Fine Then: As reported earlier via Breaking News, Twitter and Facebook, the FCC's Enforcement Bureau has fined iHeartMedia $1 million over the misuse of EAS tones on the company's Premiere-syndicated The Bobby Bones Show last October (CAT 10/27). The Nashville-based program set off EAS notifications on multiple radio and television stations in states including Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and Arkansas. View the FCC statement here.
