Hot Air: No one will comment officially, but Big Machine Label Group has renewed its distribution agreement with Universal. As part of the deal, BMLG has acquired full ownership of Republic Nashville, previously a joint venture with Republic (Breaking News 6/5/2009). The recently launched Dot (Breaking News 3/24/2014) remains a partnership with Republic.
