Simon Named Pearl GM: Former Arista VP/Promotion Lesly Simon has been named GM for Pearl Records, working alongside Mandy McCormack, who serves as VP/Radio Promotion & Marketing Strategy for Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. As reported last month (CAT 8/9), Brooks is staffing up a full promotion team to work music including his 10-disc box set and new album out Nov. 11 at Target (CAT 9/15).
