Seattle Times: A more complete picture of changes at Hubbard's KNUC/Seattle has emerged since the earlier Breaking News. Former Alpha EVP Scott Mahalick has indeed succeeded Lisa Adams, who has exited after more than a year as PD (CAT 1/25/18). Reach her here. New Dir./Brand Content Mahalick spent 10 years with Alpha and has previous programming experience in Seattle and San Francisco; reach him here.

Air staff questions have also been answered. As noted, Fitz will join the station for mornings April 22 in a return to the market. He helmed mornings at Entercom KKWF for nearly 12 years before his 2017 departure (CAT 4/24/17). He succeeds Tim LearyClaire Beverly and Karen "Red" Daiss, who joined KNUC last February from Alpha WUBB/Savannah, GA (CAT 2/15/18). According to VP/MM Ann Marie Mulholland, Daiss has exited the station, Beverly will remain in mornings with Fitz, while Leary is set to take afternoons. Former afternoon host Corey Dillon will make the move to middays as Seth Hughes heads across the hall to AC KRWM.

"The country audience in Seattle has been without their favorite morning show host for too long," says Mulholland. "The dynamic duo of Fitz backed by Scott Mahalick will change the face of radio in Seattle." Fitz is represented by CAA's Michael Bryan and will continue his work with SBG programs The Hit List, The Fitz Show and Nashville Minute.
