Nights Moves: As reported earlier via Breaking News, Townsquare nationally syndicated Taste of Country Nights host Sam Alex has exited after five years with the company (CAT 2/26/14). "I'll still be doing interviews and covering red carpets for Celebrity Page TV, but I'm officially a radio free agent," says Alex. Prior to Taste Of Country Nights, Alex's radio stops included WMZQ/Washington, AC WRRM/Cincinnati and Top 40 WBWB/Bloomington, IN. He is on the hunt for his next opportunity and can be reached via email here or via his website here.

Alex is succeeded by former Beasley Rhythmic AC WMGC/Detroit morning host Evan Paul, previously known on-air as Bigg Boy and Chunky. Paul's Country résumés includes mornings at Alpha KUPL/Portland (CAT 3/14/17); prior stops also include Top 40 WNKS/Charlotte and WKQI/Detroit. "I've done shows in several markets, but going coast-to-coast every night is a dream come true," says Paul. He and his family have relocated to Nashville, and he begins hosting duties May 13 on more than 100 stations nationwide. Reach Paul here. Taste of Country Nights producer Amber Atnip remains in her role and can be reached here.
