Tackramento: As reported earlier via Breaking News, Summit Rhythmic WKHT/Knoxville PD Joey Tack will join Bonneville KNCI/Sacramento as PD/midday host, effective July 1. Tack takes over day-to-day reins from Group Dir./Programming Chad Rufer, who will continue market oversight. Rufer has been handling KNCI programming duties since Byron Kennedy's transition to record promotion in 2016 (CAT 6/27/16). "I am both humbled and thrilled to be entrusted with the opportunity to take the experience I have gained and lead KNCI," says Tack. "This is a heritage station with an incredible team of professionals, and I am excited to work with everyone at Bonneville International."
