Coronavirus & Events Updates: Ongoing concerns surrounding the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) (CAT 3/11, 3/12) have forced additional cancellations, postponements and quarantines. Beasley's newly released policy encapsulates the new working order for many radio companies, labels and others in the radio and music industries who are working from home until further notice. "Broadcasters are at our best during uncertain times," says CEO Caroline Beasley. "We will continue to strive to be at our very best in the coming days, weeks and months. Over the next two weeks, most full-time employees will be asked to telework. While some full-time employees will be needed in the office, they will be expected to follow CDC guidelines in an effort to maintain a safe and clean work environment. In addition, the company has instituted a 'no work-related travel' policy. Beasley will be cancelling and/or postponing events and appearances for the next two weeks to ensure not only the safety of its employees but the communities they serve. The company will continue to evaluate and update policies as circumstances dictate."

Radio stations coast to coast have moved to essential staffing only and prize pickups for most have been put on hold or transferred to a mailing-only system. To date, Cumulus/Atlanta is the only cluster known to be on a full quarantine with all staff working remotely from home.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (CMHoF), Hatch Show Print, Historic RCA Studio B and the CMA Theater at the CMHoF will close to the public beginning at close of business today (3/13) through March 31. "While there have not been any confirmed cases of COVID-19 connected to the museum at this time, we must do all that we can to help ensure a safe and healthy environment for our visitors, employees and community, which at this time calls for us to close temporarily," says CEO Kyle Young.

The Grand Ole Opry will pause performances that include a live audience through April 4, including tonight's (3/13) show. During this time, the Saturday Night Grand Ole Opry Show will return to its original format as a live radio broadcast without an in-house audience. Fans can still listen in online, via Opry and WSM-AM mobile apps, SiriusXM and its flagship home, Ryman Hospitalities Classic Country WSM-AM/Nashville. Guests with tickets for cancelled performances can contact Opry customer service for assistance.

iHeartMedia has postponed its 2020 iHeartCountry Festival, originally slated for May 2 at Franks Erwin Center in Austin, TX. "Our primary goal is always the safety of our guests, employees, artists and partners, and we will continue to actively monitor the situation and will provide more information and relevant updates as they become available," says the company in a statement. Tickets will be honored for the TBD rescheduled date.

Australia's CMC Rocks QLD 2020 has also been postponed. The event was scheduled for next week in Willowbank, QLD. "We thank the CMC Rocks community for their support and understanding during this unprecedented time," say event organizers. Tickets will be honored when a rescheduled date is announced, and anyone unable to attend the new date will be entitled to a new refund. Details here.

The Country To Country (C2C) Festival, originally scheduled today (3/13) through March 15 has postponed performances in London, Dublin and Glasgow. "C2C and its organizers apologize wholeheartedly for the time to work through the issues to get this statement out," says event organizers. Many artists had already arrived overseas for performances and played earlier C2C shows in Amsterdam and Berlin. Ticketholders are advised to retain their tickets, as more information will be announced regarding the rescheduling of the event in coming days.

Willie Nelson's March 19 Luck Reunion has also been postponed with the organization releasing a statement yesterday saying in part, "Turn out the lights. The party's over. We're lucked if we don't...for now." All tickets purchased for the 2020 event will be transferred and honored for the 2021 Luck Reunion. Ticketholders with additional questions may contact the organization here.

MCA's Reba McEntire has shifted her upcoming Live In Concert arena tour, originally scheduled to launch next weekend, to dates beginning in July. "Stay safe and take care of you and your loved ones," says McEntire. "We'll get through this together." Previously purchased tickets will be honored for all dates; see the new schedule here.
