Shomby Departs Cumulus: As reported earlier via Breaking News, Cumulus Nash Dir./Programming & WKDF/Nashville PD John Shomby has exited after four years. He joined the company in 2016 to oversee Nash campus operations (CAT 2/1/16) and added WKDF duties the following year (CAT 4/19/17). Shomby previously spent more than 13 years as Max/Norfolk, VA Dir./Programming & Operations with oversight of Country WGH, and his prior career stops include Augusta, GA; Dallas; Boston; New Orleans; Portland, OR; and Birmingham, AL. A longtime CRB Board member, Shomby currently serves as CRS Vice President and can be reached here. No word on plans for the positions.
