Summit's Brannigan Departs: As reported earlier via Breaking News, SummitMedia SVPP Beverlee Brannigan has exited after more than 18 years with the company, which was Journal Broadcast Group at the time of her arrival. In 2002, she joined Journal/Wichita as OM for the cluster that includes Country KFDI & Classic Country KFTI-AM. Brannigan was elevated to VP/Programming & Wichita Pres./GM more than six years ago and stayed with the company through acquisitions by Scripps and Summit. She was named to her most recent post in January (CAT 1/10). Brannigan’s long tenured career also includes 20 years in on-air and programming roles in Des Moines, IA. She was inducted to the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2012 and serves as CRB board Secretary. Reach Brannigan here. No word on plans for her successor at Summit.
