Chase Named Summit SVPP: Former EMF Contemporary Christian SVP/Radio Randy Chase has been named Summit SVP/Programming and Country WCYQ/Knoxville PD. As SVPP, he succeeds Beverlee Brannigan, who exited this week (Breaking News 6/16). At WCYQ, he fills the vacancy created by Loyd Ford’s departure last year (CAT 9/3); he will be based in Knoxville. “Randy’s experience across all formats and his passion to serve our listeners make him an excellent addition to our team,” says Chairman/CEO Carl Parmer. “His ability to innovate in our industry and drive consumer engagement are attributes we are particularly excited about.” Chase has more than three decades of experience and departed EMF in March after seven years. He previously led Country branding and programming for Cox.
