Tulsa Time:
Former iHeartCustom syndicated Tige & Daniel show & WSIX/Nashville afternoon personalities Tige Rodgers and Daniel Baker will join Griffin KVOO/Tulsa next month for mornings alongside incumbent Amber Glaze. The duo will relocate from Nashville to Tulsa. They succeed Cash “Brooks” Williams, who left radio to pursue a career in real estate in September (CAT 8/11). “Tige and Daniel’s content and creativity are going to blow Tulsa away and really set KVOO apart,” says Dir./Radio Operations Steve Hunter. Add Rodgers and Baker, “Tulsa has such an amazing country music history and scene that we’re looking forward to being a part of ... and we’re thrilled to be alongside Amber as hosts of the legendary KVOO. We’ll try not to blow it!” The duo departed iHeart amid companywide cutback in January (CAT 1/14) after joining WSIX in 2015 (CAT 1/5/15). Their prior career stops include WGTY/Myrtle Beach, SC and WTQR/Greensboro. Reach Rodgers here and Baker here.
