All's Well That Tidwell: Former Cumulus/Detroit Dir./Programming Lance Tidwell has joined Summit WZZK/Birmingham as PD/afternoon personality. He succeeds Craig Allen, who exits after more than five years (CAT 10/28/15) and can be reached here. Tidwell, who departed the Cumulus cluster that includes Country WDRQ in February (CAT 2/10), will also have oversight of Hot AC WPYA. “[Lance] brings tremendous insight, skill, knowledge and forward-thinking, which makes him perfectly suited to lead these amazing brands and digital assets into the future,” says Market Pres.
