WIL's Mason Exits: Hubbard WIL/St. Louis Mason & Remy morning co-host Mason Schreader exited last week after nearly three years with the station and 11 years as a Country show. Zachary Hoesly (a.k.a. Remy) remains. Schreader and Hoesly joined for afternoons in 2018 (CAT 6/15/18) before making the move to mornings last year (CAT 5/8/20). They were previously partnered at WEBG/Chicago (CAT 1/13/15), crosstown KSD (CAT 4/26/10) and Top 40 WBNQ/Bloomington, IL. Schreader garnered national media attention from the New York Post due to since-deleted social media posts regarding a freshly inked station logo tattoo he acquired just days before his termination. See coverage here and here. Schreader has removed his original tweets regarding the termination and also took down a Facebook post with his “official statement.” Reach him here. WIL OM/PD Tommy Mattern tells Country Aircheck Hoesley and third chair morning host Kasey Washausen – who also handles middays – will continue in mornings. He has no immediate plans to replace Schreader.
