As reported this morning via Breaking News, Cumulus/Indianapolis OM JR Ammons will join Audacy/Kansas City Feb. 1 as OM and Country WDAF & Top 40 KZPT Brand Mgr. He fills the vacancy created when Country Radio Hall of Famer Mike Kennedy retired Dec. 17 (CAT 11/9/21). It is a return to the market for Ammons, who, prior to 11 years in Indianapolis, spent time with crosstown Steel City Top 40 KMXV in addition to stops in Atlanta and Jacksonville, FL.
