Two Leave Sony Promo: No word from the company, but Sony/Nashville has cut two regionals – Arista Dir./Northeast David “Bubba” Berry and RCA Dir./Southeast Elizabeth “Liz” Sledge. Berry exits after four years with the imprint and 10 with the company (CAT 6/1/18), having previously been at RCA. He joined the latter as Mgr./Regional Promotion in 2012 (CAT 2/13/12) following time with Show Dog-Universal (CAT 10/14/11). He also had an earlier five-year run with Sony imprint BNA (2006-2011). Sledge exits after nearly 13 years. She joined in 2009 as Mgr./Regional Promotion (CAT 5/11/09) and was elevated to Dir. in 2013 (CAT 4/15/13). Prior stops include Montage. Hot Air: Equally unofficial is the disposition of Sony's open VP/Promotion slot at Arista following the departure of Josh Easler for Records/Nashville (Breaking News 12/13).
