Clay Nation: Saga Country WPOR/Portland, ME part-timer Brandon Clay, who also handles part-time on-air duties for AC sister WMGX, has been named to afternoons for WPOR. He fills the vacancy created by the departure of Jonathan “JR” Ruppel, who left for Townsquare/Lansing, MI last month (CAT 5/13). Clay joined the cluster last July after graduating from Curry College where he served as PD for campus station WMLN/Milton, MA. His prior stops include iHeartMedia, Beasley, Cumulus, Barstool Sports and Suffolk Free Radio. Clay reports to newly minted WPOR PD Jon Shannon (CAT 6/10) and will assist with music chores.
