Youngblood, Raneiri Depart UMGN:
Capitol Dir./West Coast Promotion Megan Youngblood and Mercury Dir./West Coast Promotion Greg Raneiri have exited as UMG/Nashville restructures its promo teams from five regionals to four. The moves follow MCA's Miranda McDonald moving to a companywide role (CAT 1/13) and EMI Nashville's Jackie Stevens heading back to radio (CAT 1/30). Youngblood joined in 2017 (CAT 8/1/17) from the Capitol Top 40 division. She previously spent more than seven years with Sony Music Entertainment. Raneiri has been with the company since July (CAT 7/11/22) after time with Quartz Hill and radio stops at KSON/San Diego; Radio Medford/Medford, OR; The Radio People/Meridian, MS; and WXTU/Philadelphia. Both are searching for their next opportunities; reach Youngblood here and Raneiri here. No word on the new regional promotion structure within the four UMGN imprints.
