The A-Stream: YouTube Music Mgr./Country Music Programming Rachel Whitney is joining Spotify Monday (3/2) as Head Editorial/Nashville, reporting to Co-Head/Music Jeremy Erlich. In the newly-created role, Whitney will oversee the editorial staff and operations for the streaming service's Nashville office. "I’m proud to further the mission of sharing all of Nashville’s amazing talent at the biggest audio streaming service in the world," she shared on Instagram. Whitney joined YouTube in 2018 (CAT 10/29/18) following stops at Pandora and Borman Entertainment. No word on plans for the open position.
