Viva Knox Vegas: Former Summit/Springfield, MO interim OM & KTTS PD Tom Oakes has joined the company's WCYQ/Knoxville as interim PD. He succeeds Kevin King who returned to ADX/Pensacola, FL as OM (CAT 1/23). Oakes will also handle air shifts for WCYQ as needed; King previously voiced afternoons. "Once they have their new PD here, I'll be returning home to the Twin Cities as I seek my next radio adventure," Oakes tells Country Aircheck. Reach him here.
