Terry Dorsey Passes:
Country Radio Hall of Famer and longtime KSCS/Dallas morning man Terry Dorsey has passed, according to an internal memo from Cumulus/Dallas MM Dan Bennett. "As you know, Terry's impact on Dallas radio was huge and he was a great friend to all of us and one of radio's great performers," Bennett wrote to staff, attributing the passing to natural causes. Dorsey retired last year, signing off Dec. 17 after 50 years in radio, 33 in Dallas and 26 with the station (CAT 12/17). Arrangements are pending. The Country Aircheck team extends its thoughts, prayers and condolences to Dorsey's family and friends at this difficult time.
