Christi Cooking: Reina Broadcasting has begun operating KUKA/Corpus Christi and shifted it to gold-based Country as "Retro Country," bringing it in line with its "Retro" branded Classic Hits and Tejano stations in the market. KUKA rimshots Corpus Christi, but the addition of translator K277BL gives it coverage over the city proper. Reina's Classic Hits KBSO had been Red Dirt/Texas Country until the beginning of the year (CAT 1/2), and former KBSO morning host Blake Farenthold reprises those duties on KUKA.
