Gates Way: UMG/Nashville SVP/Digital Business & Creative Development Dawn Gates has departed the company after nearly 20 years and launched consulting/management firm Seven Note Enterprises. "I'm deeply grateful to UMG, especially Mike Dungan and Cindy Mabe, for the belief in my vision and the support in taking bold, often unconventional, risks," says Gates. "As I take some time to evaluate and determine my next long-term venture, I’m looking forward to the flexibility Seven Note provides, both with work and family.” Gates joined UMGN in 2006 and rose to her most recent position in 2018 (CAT 12/14/18).
