WLHK's Tack To Leave:
Emmis WLHK/Indianapolis APD/morning host Joey Tack will leave his post at the end of his contract to pursue his next opportunity. “I’m thankful for a wonderful experience at Hank-FM and the opportunity to reach new career goals,” Tack tells Country Aircheck. “While personal priorities have shifted, I’m grateful to Emmis for their flexibility and understanding [and] am looking forward to my next career steps.” Tack joined WLHK last year (CAT 8/30/21) following time as Bonneville KNCI/Sacramento PD/midday host. He previously spent more than 14 years with Summit Rhythmic WKHT/Knoxville in various on-air and programming capacities. Tack will also continue to lead the CRS Agenda Committee as Chairman for the 2022-2023 CRS year (CAT 3/28/22). Reach Tack here. Emmis/Indianapolis Dir./Music Programming & WLHK PD Sean Copeland is now actively seeking Tack’s successor, who will join incumbent Mindy Winkler on-air. See the complete job description and apply here; send résumés and airchecks to Copeland here.
