Koffy Talk: As reported this morning via Breaking News, Westwood One has launched Morning Koffy, a syndicated morning show featuring Paul Koffy and Jasmine Sadry. The pair succeed The Ty Bentli Show. “The fact that this team came together over hours of Zoom and phone calls is proof that we are turning a new page at Westwood One/Nashville," says PD Paul Williams. “With Paul [Koffy]’s home-spun ‘my tractor is more expensive than my car’ attitude and Jasmine’s Texas swagger, they just light it up together.” Adds Westwood One Pres. and Cumulus EVP/Marketing Suzanne Grimes, “Paul has spent his entire career in country music and, surprisingly, has never before hosted a program from Nashville – we can’t wait to see what he does from Music City. With Jasmine on the other mic, this show is one good morning brew.”
Morning Koffy is Westwood One’s fourth iteration of the nationally syndicated Country radio morning show, following The Ty Bentli Show; Ty, Kelly & Chuck; and the original America’s Morning Show, launched in 2014 (CAT 2/15/14). Koffy spent more than six years at Entercom KMNB/Minneapolis before his 2018 departure (CAT 8/16/18), and his prior career stops include KPLX/Dallas, WFUS/Tampa and WUBL/Atlanta. Sadry left Cumulus KSCS/Dallas in 2018 after three years (CAT 10/17/18) and previously served at AC KDGE/Dallas, Fox Sports Radio, CBS Radio and KVUE-TV/Austin. Reach Koffy here and Sadry here.
