Cumulus' Michaels To Depart: Cumulus/Shreveport OM & Country KRMD PD Jay Michaels is leaving Tuesday (5/9) for a soon-to-be-named opportunity. He joined the cluster in 2019 and added KRMD PD duties in October of that year (CAT 10/1/19). Michaels also served as Hot AC KQHN & AC KRMD-AM PD, handled mornings on KQHN and was heard in middays at Top 40 sister WLTO/Lexington, KY and afternoons at AC sister KQFC/Boise. Michaels’ prior stops include Cumulus/Indianapolis; Midwest/Terre Haute, IN; Midwest/Evansville, IN; and Hubbard/Bellevue, WA. Reach him here. No word on plans for the position at Cumulus.
