West Exits: Max Media/Norfolk OM Jay West, whose oversight included WGH, has departed. West was promoted from AC WVBW Brand Mgr. to cluster OM in 2024 (CAT 4/23/24). He has been in the market since 1995, joining WVBW for afternoons in 2020 and adding Brand Mgr. duties later that year. His previous stops include Buffalo, Milwaukee, Houston and Philadelphia. No word on plans for the position. In related news, WGH Dir./Production, weekend personality and 11-year station veteran Jerry Hoyt, who recently moved to middays (CAT 5/4), has also added APD duties for that station.
