Schumann To Leave SXM:
SiriusXM Sr. Dir./Country Programming JR Schumann will leave July 15 after six-and-a-half years to pursue new opportunities. VP/Programming Darrin Smith will oversee the Country channels on an interim basis. “After almost seven years, I’ve decided to leave SiriusXM and pursue other opportunities and adventures," says Schumann. "I’m beyond proud of everything my team and I have accomplished and wish everyone at SiriusXM nothing but continued success.” He joined in Dec. 2015 (Breaking News 12/15/15) from Cumulus KSCS & KPLX/Dallas following stops at WWKA/Orlando; KYKX/Longview, TX; and WZZK/Birmingham.
