Mercury Rising: Former Quartz Hill Mgr./Promotion West Coast Greg Raneiri has been named Dir./Regional Promotion West at Mercury as Sally Angeli shifts to her new role as Dir./Regional Promotion Midwest, effective July 18. Raneiri is based in San Diego and Angeli in Nashville. The moves follow the promotion of Nick Kaper to Dir./Promotion & Radio Marketing for the label group (CAT 5/9). “Greg came so highly recommended by radio programmers and industry veterans alike,” says SVPP Damon Moberly. "Royce [Risser] and I have enjoyed working with Sally for the past 18 years here at Mercury, [and] we are certain that the Midwest is going to love working with her as well!” Raneiri announced he was leaving Quartz Hill at the end of June (CAT 6/29) after a year-and-a-half.
