Former Audacy Hot AC KMXB/Las Vegas PD J. Love has been named OM for Alpha/San Jose, which includes programming oversight of Country KBAY and Hot AC KEZR. He starts Aug. 1 and fills a position that had been vacant since the departure of “Bo Matthews” Gutierrez last July (CAT 7/15/24). "We’re thrilled to welcome J. Love back to San Jose,” says MM David Drutz. "His energy, creativity, and track record of success make him the perfect fit to guide the next chapter of Mix and Bay Country." Love spent 11 years in Las Vegas, with previous stops in San Diego, Reno, Detroit and New Orleans. He started his radio career at then-Rhythmic Top 40 KHQT/San Jose. Alpha is operating under an LMA pending purchase by Connoisseur (CAT 5/5).
