Bigger Machine: Republic Nashville has been renamed BMLG Records after Big Machine Label Group acquired 100% ownership of the label as tipped last year by Country Aircheck (CAT 7/6/15). The Republic Nashville imprint launched as a joint venture between BMLG and Universal Republic in 2009 (CAT 6/5/09). Big Machine Label Group EVP Jimmy Harnen will continue to lead the imprint as President with Matthew Hargis as VP/Promotion.
