iHeart Cuts Continue: The latest round of iHeartMedia cutbacks (CAT 8/7) continues today. Among those exiting are:
KTST/Oklahoma City & KTGX/Tulsa PD/midday personality Karla Cantrell is out after eight years with the station (CAT 7/25/16). She had previously spent nine years in the same role at crosstown KWEN, with two years at KVOX/Fargo in between. Reach Cantrell here.
WCOS/Columbia, SC APD/MD/afternoon host Andy Woods exits after 19 years with the station and 25 with the company. He tells Country Aircheck, "Looking forward to what comes next." Reach him here.
KAJA/San Antonio midday host Jamie Martin exits after 19 years with the station and 22 with the cluster.
SVPP/Beaumont & KYKR PD Trey Poston is out after more than 30 years with the cluster. He shared on social media, "I want to thank everyone that has listened through the decades, the clients who entrusted me to endorse their businesses and the amazing, talented people I have worked with through the years."
