WEBG Flips Out:
As Country Aircheck tipped earlier (CAT 9/3), iHeartMedia Country WEBG (Big 95.5)/Chicago flipped to Rock as "Rock 95.5" at 5pm CT today (9/3). Just prior to the flip, Europe's "The Final Countdown" played, and the first song heard as the new format was Metallica's "Enter Sandman." "Rock 95.5" will include music from Aerosmith, U2, Creed, Black Sabbath and Pearl Jam. No word on staffing changes. An on-air announcement states iHeart will still offer a Country outlet via its HD2 signal. Stream the new WEBG here.
