Dorsey into NRHoF
Hall Cool One: The
National Radio Hall of Fame (NRHoF) will induct Country Radio Hall of Famer and longtime KSCS/Dallas morning host, the late
Terry Dorsey, in its Class of 2023 Legends category. Dorsey started in Country at KPLX/Dallas in 1982, before moving to crosstown KSCS in 1988, starting a 26-year run. Dorsey retired at the end of 2014 and passed away three months later (
Chronicle 3/8/15). He was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2006. Dorsey joins eight other Country inductees in the National Radio Hall of Fame, including Gerry House, who will also be inducted this year. The induction ceremony will be Nov. 2 at the InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel. Tickets are available
