Montana Departs KBEQ:
Steel City KBEQ/Kansas City morning host Zeke Montana is retiring after 17 years in mornings and 32 total with the station. Today (10/4) was his last show. Mike Kellar remains in mornings solo following the departure of co-host Jillian Gregg earlier this week (CAT 10/1). Montana shared the news on-air this morning and followed up with a video announcement via Twitter. PD Todd Nixon is seeking on-air talent immediately. A minimum of two years experience on-air and strong social media skills are required. "We'll be moving into brand new digs in the coming weeks, and I'm very excited for the next great chapter at KBEQ," Nixon tells Country Aircheck. Send résumés and airchecks to him here.
