iHeart Cutbacks Continue: No official word from the company, but Country Aircheck has learned iHeartMedia has started another reduction in force. The moves come after furloughs from January of this year were made permanent in September (CAT 9/29). Country pros affected by the cutbacks include:

• Raleigh SVPP Trevor Morini, named to the post last December (CAT 12/17/19) and spent more than five years with the company. Contact him at 508-317-9414.
• KHEY/El Paso, TX PD/afternoon personality & Country sister KBQI/Albuquerque PD Michael Rivera, who joined KHEY last year (CAT 6/3/19) before adding KBQI duties later that month (CAT 6/18/19). He first joined the company’s Austin cluster in 2008. Reach Rivera here.
• WQRB/Eau Claire, WI Brand Mgr./mornings & Classic Country sister WATQ afternoons Mike McKay, who had been with WQRB since 1991. Reach him here.
• WOVK/Wheeling, WV VPP/PD/MD/morning host Jimmy Elliott, who marked 27 years with the station last month. Reach him here.
