Phillips To Lead iHM Country: iHeartMedia Regional SVP/Programming Rod Phillips has been named Country format captain, responsibilities formerly belonging to EVP & GM/National Programming Platforms Clay Hunnicutt, who recently joined Big Loud Records (Breaking News 6/30).

Phillips has 20 years of programming experience. Past stops include Top 40 WKSC/Chicago, where he served as PD/air personality from 2001-06. He then spent two years overseeing the company's Miami cluster before being named SVP and relocating to Cincinnati in 2009. He added oversight of Premium Choice in 2013 (CAT 12/17/13). Phillips was instrumental in the national launch of The Bobby Bones Show in early 2013 (CAT 2/4/13). He will relocate to Nashville for the job and can be reached here.
