Schuler Official At Arista: As tipped last week via Breaking News, UMG/Nashville VP/Promotion & Radio Marketing Chris Schuler has joined Arista as VP/Promotion, succeeding Josh Easler. “Chris is an absolute rising star in the industry," says Sony/Nashville EVP/Promotion & Artist Development Steve Hodges, to whom Schuler reports. "His business acumen, people skills, and passion for the music are second to none." Adds Schuler, "I could not be more excited about joining the Arista Nashville promotion team and being a part of Sony Music Nashville’s ongoing legacy.”

Schuler joined UMGN in 2013 from BMI, segued to Mercury Coord./Promotion then to Mgr./Radio Marketing & Syndication before being named to his most recent post in 2019 (CAT 4/17/19). Easler left Arista in December to join Records/Nashville as EVP/Promotion & Commercial Strategy (CAT 12/13/21). No word on plans for the position at UMGN. Congratulate Schuler here.
