Herring To Triple Tigers: Former Warner Music Nashville SVP/Promotion Kevin Herring has joined Triple Tigers in the same capacity. "It's exciting to start with a clean sheet of paper, writing a new success story one page at a time," Herring says. "Triple Tigers is stacked with amazing industry vets, and focusing on a talent like Russell Dickerson right out of the gate, for me, is a surefire winning formula." Adds GM Norbert Nix, "This acquisition assures radio how serious and committed we are to competing at the highest levels. Kevin brings not only experience, but leadership, and the kind of strategic thinking that will inspire significant and meaningful results." Herring left Warner in September after almost four years (Breaking News 9/22). Prior stops include EMI Nashville, Skyville, Lyric Street and Mercury, where in the '90s he worked with with Nix. Herring is on the job now and can be reached here. Triple Tigers launched in October as part of a partnership with Triple 8 Management and Sony Music Entertainment (Breaking News 10/10).
