The Other Schuler Drops: As reported earlier via Breaking News, UMG/Nashville VP/Promotion & Radio Marketing Chris Schuler has joined Arista as VP/Promotion, succeeding Josh Easler. “Alongside [SMN EVP/Promotion & Artist Development] Steve [Hodges] and the entire label group, I look forward to breaking new music, new artists and evolving careers," says Schuler. He joined UMGN in 2013 from BMI, segued to Mercury Coord./Promotion then to Mgr./Radio Marketing & Syndication before being named to his most recent post in 2019 (CAT 4/17/19). Easler left Arista in December to join Records/Nashville as EVP/Promotion & Commercial Strategy (CAT 12/13/21). No word on plans for the position at UMGN. Reach Schuler here.
