'BAY My Name: KRTY.com afternoon personality Tony Michaels (CAT 7/5) is joining Alpha KBAY/San Jose for weekend afternoons beginning Saturday (7/9). “Tony has an outstanding reputation in the Bay Area, and our local listeners associate him with country music,” says OM/PD Bo Matthews. Michaels joined then-Empire/San Jose in 2015 and made the move to KRTY afternoons in 2019 (CAT 9/3/19). He previously spent nine years with the same cluster, from 1990-1999, and has additional career stops at KYCY & KFRC/San Francisco.
